Children studying the history and culture of Otaki Town began to learn about the good things about the town, and a strong desire was born to let more people know about their beloved Otaki Town. Mr. Akihiro Fukuda, a graphic designer from Otaki, drew up a design plan for Otaki town, and elementary and junior high school students in the town were asked to fill out a questionnaire to select an image character.
